David Bowie – New Album & New Single

Celebrating his 66th birthday today, the legendary British glam-rock star David Bowie has released a surprise new single Where Are We Now?, ahead of his first album in over 10 years, The Next Day, out in March (Australia – March 8, Rest of World except USA – March 11, USA – March 12). The track is on sale on iTunes now and a video preview byย Tony Oursler has been posted on his relaunched website from a Vimeo account that was only opened two weeks ago.

The release from Columbia Records said, “Throwing shadows and avoiding the industry treadmill is very David Bowie despite his extraordinary track record that includes album sales in excess of 130m, not to mention his massive contributions in the area of art, fashion, style, sexual exploration and social commentary.”
